Naturopathic medicine in San Diego, licensed doctors, natural therapies
Naturopathic doctors combine modern diagnostics with natural therapies, and take the time to understand how your symptoms connect.
Our naturopathic doctors are licensed primary care providers. They take a detailed history, order lab work when it helps, and build a plan that can include nutrition, botanical medicine and lifestyle changes, coordinated with the rest of our team and your own doctors.

The principles behind it
Naturopathic medicine is guided by six principles.
First, do no harm
Choose the gentlest effective option and keep the risk of side effects low.
The healing power of nature
Support the body’s own ability to restore balance.
Find the cause
Look for what sits underneath symptoms instead of treating each one alone.
Treat the whole person
Consider physical, emotional, environmental and lifestyle factors together.
Doctor as teacher
Explain the why, so you can take part in your own care.
Prevention
Build health over time, not only respond to illness.
