What this test measures
- Hormones and thyroid: TSH, free and total T3 and T4, estradiol, progesterone, FSH, LH, DHEA-S, SHBG, cortisol, prolactin, PTH
- Heart and metabolic: total cholesterol, HDL, triglycerides, homocysteine, glucose, uric acid
- Nutrients and iron: vitamin D, B12, folate, magnesium, ferritin, iron, transferrin, UIBC
- Liver: ALT, AST, alkaline phosphatase, GGT, bilirubin, albumin, total protein
- Kidney, muscle and electrolytes: creatinine, BUN, CK, calcium, sodium, potassium, chloride, carbon dioxide
- Complete blood count (CBC)

FAQs
How is this different from the labs my regular doctor orders?
Standard labs often cover the basics. The Saffron Panel adds markers like homocysteine, ferritin, SHBG, DHEA-S and a full thyroid panel, and your doctor reads them for patterns that point to root causes.
Do I need to fast?
For most panels, yes. We confirm preparation when you book.
Do I need to be a member?
No. You can always book à la carte. Membership unlocks preferred pricing, member-only offers and events, and other perks.
Can I use my HSA, FSA or LSA?
Yes. HSA, FSA and LSA dollars are welcome for eligible care. Saffron & Sage is direct pay and does not bill insurance.
