Saffron & Sage is a holistic wellness clinic and we host multi-sensory experiential events throughout the San Diego area and are looking for a grounded, self-motivated, organized holistic esthetician. This individual must maintain a positive attitude, assume accountability, and function well as a team player, proficient in communication with patients and the clinical team. Training will be provided, but previous esthetician experience is definitely required. We are a boutique wellness practice that has high standards of customer service and care. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about optimizing patient health and helping people look and feel their best. The ideal candidate will be committed to the highest standards of patient care and contribute to an environment that promotes a team building atmosphere.

Responsibilities and Duties Provide exceptional service in the area of massage therapy particularly in the following massage modalities; lymphatic drainage, acupressure, craniosacral, deep tissue, thai, sports, swedish, etc. Deliver a variety of spa services Keep documentation and maintain clients files Create and maintain a clean, inviting and therapeutic environment Acknowledge and respond to relevant customer queries, needs and expectations Suggest and promote retail products or additional services Uphold hygiene standards and follow health and safety regulations Cooperate with and report on administration on any arising issues Qualifications and Skills Hands on experience in massage techniques and face/body therapies Experience in sales will be considered an asset Excellent knowledge of English language, bilingual in Spanish is a plus Communication and customer service skills Positive attitude Grounded energy

** What You'll Be Doing:**

• Client Assessment. Conduct thorough assessments of clients' needs and preferences to customize massage treatments accordingly.

• Deep Tissue Massage Techniques. Utilize your expert knowledge to address clients' specific concerns, including muscle tension, pain, and limited mobility.

• Communication. Effectively communicate with clients to understand their health history, current conditions, and any specific areas of discomfort or sensitivity.

• Documentation. Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and relevant health information.

• Client Education. Educate clients on the benefits of deep tissue massage, self-care practices, and lifestyle changes.

• Collaboration. Work collaboratively with other holistic healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care of clients.

• Hygiene and Sanitation. Adhere to strict hygiene and sanitation standards, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

• Professional Development. Stay informed about industry trends and continually enhance skills through ongoing education and training.

• Customer Service. Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client concerns and ensuring a positive experience.

What You Need:

• Full-time availability.
• Experience handling 25 patients a week.
• Additional training in modalities such as esthetics, sound, etc., or a readiness to be trained in additional modalities.
