5 SIGNS YOU NEED TO DETOX

Everyone needs to detox, cleanse themselves, and rest their body functions at times. Our body has a daily elimination cycle, mostly carried out at night and in the early morning up until breakfast. 

When we eat a congesting diet that is higher in fats, meats, dairy products, refined foods, and are exposed to chemicals in our environment, detoxification becomes more necessary. Now when it comes to detoxification it is essential that we connect your symptoms to your story and create a custom protocol, but I want to give you some common signs that can be an indication that the body is overloaded with toxins and it’s time for a cleanse:

  1. Fatigue: experiencing physical tiredness and/or mental exhaustion on a daily basis, not resolved by getting proper sleep and enough rest

  2. Food sensitivities: digestive upset such as bloating, gas and constipation caused by consumption of certain foods

  3. Headaches: lingering and recurring headaches with no apparent cause 

  4. Cravings: having a strong desire or even addiction to some foods, especially sugars, refined carbs and alcohol

  5. Skin issues: acne, eczema and rashes can be observed when the body can’t properly eliminate the toxic overload
