Saffron & Sage accepts HSA (health savings account), FSA (flexible spending account), and LSA (lifestyle spending account) dollars to support your health care and self care needs. Saffron & Sage is a direct pay holistic primary care clinic and does not accept insurance.

SAFFRON & SAGE POLICIES

At Saffron & Sage, our goal is to provide each member, patient, and client with exceptional, consistent care. Please review the following policies carefully. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to us at 619-933-2340 or service@saffronsageliving.com.

PAYMENT & BILLING POLICIES

All purchases—including services, products, credits, and membership renewals—will be automatically charged to the card on file.

Payment is taken at the time of purchase or booking.

If you schedule an appointment that requires multiple credits, the system will automatically deduct all available credits and charge your card on file for any additional credits needed to complete the booking.

You are responsible for managing your available credits and appointments via the Saffron & Sage mobile app. For those on doctor-directed plans, a dedicated concierge team is available for support.

To maintain uninterrupted access to care, credits, and booking, you must maintain an active and valid payment method on file.

If your card is declined, membership benefits, booking access, and member pricing will be suspended until payment is received.

For both monthly and annual memberships, if payment fails, you must update your card and submit payment within 48 hours.

A 5% late fee per day will be added to any outstanding balance beginning 48 hours after a failed payment attempt, until the balance is paid in full.

MEMBERSHIP ELIGIBILITY & APPLICATION PROCESS

Saffron & Sage is a private, members-only holistic health club.

Membership is not available for direct online purchase.

All prospective members must:

Complete a New Member Intake Form

Submit a Member Application

Participate in a Consultation with a Licensed Practitioner

Following the consultation, applicants may be invited to join. Upon acceptance, each member must:

Complete onboarding

Sign the Member Agreement

Acknowledge all Saffron & Sage Policies and the Code of Conduct

MEMBERSHIP TERMS & AUTO-RENEWAL DISCLOSURE

We offer monthly and annual auto-renewing memberships:

Memberships automatically renew on your enrollment anniversary unless canceled in writing prior to your renewal window.

Monthly memberships require 7 days’ written notice before your next billing date to cancel.

Annual memberships require 30 days’ written notice prior to your renewal date to cancel.

Your membership rate will increase by 5% annually on your membership anniversary. Any membership tier change or renewal will be charged at the current published rate.

Important:

If your billing date falls on a weekend, holiday, or after the 28th, your charge may be processed on the nearest business day.

Unused service credits expire:

Monthly Members: 15 days from date of issue or end of membership.

Annual Members: 6 months from date of issue or end of membership.

Credits are non-refundable, non-transferrable, and do not roll over beyond these timelines.

By submitting payment, you provide express written consent to recurring charges and agree to all membership terms.

Notice of Material Changes

We will notify you via email at least 7 days (and no more than 30 days) in advance of any material changes to your membership, pricing, or policies.

ADDING MEMBERS TO YOUR ACCOUNT

You may request to add a member to your account. They must complete:

A complimentary Member Consultation

Upon approval, they will gain access to your member pricing, credits, and perks. You remain financially responsible for any charges. Each added member must also sign the Member Agreement and adhere to all policies.

CANCELLATIONS, NO-SHOWS & RESCHEDULING

We require 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule any appointment.

Appointment changes must be made by phone or text: 619-933-2340 (not via the app).

Late cancellations or no-shows result in forfeiture of the associated credit.

$50 late cancellation/no-show fee per hour of scheduled time applies.

Unlimited Memberships incur a $100 per hour no-show fee.

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

All sales are final—no refunds or exchanges for services, products, or credits.

Medical and non-medical credits cannot be exchanged or transferred.

Credits are non-transferable outside your account, unless explicitly authorized.

INTRODUCTORY OFFER TERMS

The Introductory Offer is a one-time, non-renewable package valid for 90 days from purchase or until credits are used—whichever comes first.

This offer does not constitute a membership and does not guarantee future access to care or pricing.

Cannot be combined with other offers or promotions.

To continue care, a membership application and consultation are required.

SICKNESS & COVID-19 POLICY

Clients must be symptom-free upon arrival.

Please check your temperature before arriving; we will recheck it at the door.

Entry will be denied for any cold, flu, or COVID-19 symptoms, and your credit will be forfeited.

Face masks are required. No refunds are issued for missed appointments due to non-compliance.

VIRTUAL OFFERING TERMS

Virtual offerings are one-time purchases valid for 12 months from purchase.

All credits must be used within that window.

These offerings do not secure current rates, which may change at any time.

To maintain consistent virtual access and pricing, consider enrolling in an Annual Membership.

VIOLATIONS & TERMINATION

Violation of the Member Agreement, Code of Conduct, or initiation of a chargeback will result in immediate termination of membership.

All remaining credits, perks, and balances will be forfeited.

Access to care and services will be permanently revoked for the primary member and all associated individuals.

No reinstatement will be granted.
