It is widely known that movement and talk therapy reduces stress, anxiety and depression. Talking helps us sort through our thoughts and gain a fresh perspective on life’s daily stresses while exercising gets our blood pumping and circulates oxygen throughout the body.
We begin with a meditation and then transition into a 1.5 mile walk throughout beautiful Balboa Park lead by our Expressive Arts Instructor, Lauren Ursch while socializing with old friends and making new ones. As we finish our walk we close with a meditation supported with aromatherapy.
- Participants are encouraged to wear workout clothing.
- Check in will begin at 6:20PM
- Class begins at 6:30PM
- Group will depart promptly at 6:30PM from the Botanical Building
