DWELL | Full Moon Circle

static1.squarespace-1.jpg

The moon, being the closest astronomical body to Earth, has a profound effect on us. Just like the moon's phases affect the ocean's tide, we too are affected by the lunar cycle. It represents the feminine, emotional, creative and nurturing aspects of our lives. During the full moon energy peaks then releases creating an opening for change.

The full moon marks the end of a chapter. It invites us to let go of that which we have outgrown or no longer need by shedding light on the people or projects, beliefs or feelings that are interfering with our spiritual development.

During our Full Moon Circle we will gather together to participate in a heart-opening Cacao Ceremony to release these things - whether they be relationships, grudges, anger, addictions, etc. Together we will take advantage of the powerful and intense full moon energy that enables us to let go and support it with no-touch energy work.

Join us in our new space in Mission Hills for an evening of emotional, physical and spiritual release. Take your healing practice to the next level by releasing that which no longer serves you through movement, visualization and energy work.

$35 - All members receive 20% off

  • Class will begin promptly at 7:30PM
  • Please arrive early for parking and check-in

The moon, being the closest astronomical body to Earth, has a profound effect on us. It represents the feminine, emotional, creative and nurturing aspects of our lives. During the new moon the sun and moon are in alignment. The sun's light illuminates the moon hiding it from our view.

The magic of the new moon is that it represents beginning. It's a great time to begin new projects, initiate important conversations, plant seeds and set intentions. The new moon generates negative ions elevating our mood and inspiring our desire to begin new things and manifest outward change.

The alignment of the sun and moon during the new moon creates space for the subconscious and conscious minds to communicate, merging our wants and needs, leading to a deeper more integrated life.

The new moon invites us to take ownership for our dreams and desires and to commit to the beliefs and behaviors necessary to get us there. During our New Moon Circle we will gather to identify desires and set intentions. Together we will take advantage of the powerful new moon energy that enables us to claim our dreams and chart our course.

DWELL | Winter Solstice Celebration

Winter Solstice.jpg

The beginning of each season is marked by a Solstice or Equinox - the point during the Earth's orbit around the sun in which it is at its least (Equinox) or greatest (Solstice) distance from the celestial equator.

On the Winter Solstice we mark the shortest day of the year above the equator and the point in which the sun starts rising later and setting earlier.

"Solstice" comes from the Latin solsitium, or "sun stands still" named for the appearance of the sun on this first day of summer that appears to stand still reaching its highest point in the sky.

Ancient cultures around the world have long observed the Winter Solstice with festivals and celebrations honoring the change of seasons and shifting their postures and practices to reflect the seasonal invitation.

In Winter we are invited to embrace the way of the Warrior as we display respect for ourselves and others we display willingness to to look again, to be open and accepting of who we are and where we are at, of who our neighbor is and where they are at.

Through the gentle guidance of Cristin Smith, Founder & Spiritual Director, we will embrace the luxurious growth of Summer - bringing acknowledgment through reflection (silence) and expression (journaling and sharing) to our individual experiences creating space to show up this Summer speaking and acting on our personal truth. You will leave our time together feeling energized and with your very own Saffron & Sage seasonal guide to Summer wellness.

CULTIVATE | Moon Cycle Mapping

22089562_1672076506169909_8211083032209004167_n.jpg

When we begin moon mapping, we venture deep into the ancient rhythms of the moon and begin a journey within ourselves. We begin to awaken and understand our personal lunar rhythm, and uncoil our powerful womb wisdom from within.

In this workshop, you will learn how to chart your personal lunar cycle and unveil your unique lunar rhythm as a gateway to cultivating a deeper and more empowered relationship with your body.

After practicing moon mapping you will begin to see patterns that perhaps you were never aware of—mental, physical, emotional, sexual, and intuitive—informing you of how to attune to your fertility and anchor yourself in the rhythm of your feminine power.

Moon mapping is more than balancing your menstrual flow. Join Dr. Marlene Ehrler as we explore this potent information and how it can be used to design your life in a way that supports your personal phases and flow, leading to a more dynamic and balanced existence.

As an added bonus, you will also learn how to incorporate seed cycling as a gentle way to help your body balance your hormones naturally. This simple nutritional practice encourages your cycle to follow it’s natural rhythm and gives your hormones a gentle nudge in the right direction.

CULTIVATE | Mapping Our Emotions

Your body knows when something is wrong before you do. In Traditional Chinese Medicine, each organ corresponds with a different emotion. By testing our Meridians, we can identify which organs are compromised and their emotional counterpart.

Each of us has the capacity to heal and the innate intelligence to do so. But how do we identify what our organs are trying to tell us? How do we identify the emotional baggage are we carrying around and then release it?

Our bodies truly are a treasure map for the soul. Learning to read our body-map lends to the discovery of what may be in the way of us reaching our full potential.

This time of year often brings feelings of grief, tension and stress. Find out how to holistically support those emotions this season under the gentle guidance of Daniela Rahimi, Life Coach, Energy Practitioner and Certified Hypnotist. Together we will explore how to read our body-map and how to support ourselves using plant-based nutrition, medicine, movement and visualization.

NOURISH | The Art of Eating

As community leaders and entrepreneurs we're already focused on filling our bodies with nutritious foods to give us the energy we need to conquer the day.

Although we may not be strangers to smoothies and superfoods we still find ourselves battling with digestive and mood disorders along with weight and sleep issues wondering what else we can possibly do.

The brain-gut connection has been the missing link in understanding how we eat is just as important as what we eat.

Together we will explore the psychology of digestion and how eating on the go and in stressful situations is hijacking our nutrition. We will touch on techniques you can incorporate to begin digesting and start assimilating those much needed nutrients.

Join Kristy Malone, Nutritional Therapy Practitioner & Mental Health Therapist, as she shows us how to incorporate the art of eating into our everyday lives through mindfulness practices bringing healing to our digestive and metabolic systems, increasing our energy and elevating our mood!

DWELL | Full Moon Circle

The moon, being the closest astronomical body to Earth, has a profound effect on us. Just like the moon's phases affect the ocean's tide, we too are affected by the lunar cycle. It represents the feminine, emotional, creative and nurturing aspects of our lives. During the full moon energy peaks then releases creating an opening for change.

The full moon marks the end of a chapter. It invites us to let go of that which we have outgrown or no longer need by shedding light on the people or projects, beliefs or feelings that are interfering with our spiritual development.

During our Full Moon Circle we will gather to release these things - whether they be relationships, grudges, anger, addictions, etc. Together we will take advantage of the powerful and intense full moon energy that enables us to let go and support it with no-touch energy work.

Join us in Little Italy for an evening of emotional, physical and spiritual release. Through the guidance of Carla Guerra, Yoga Instructor & Reiki Practitioner, you can take your healing practice to the next level by releasing that which no longer serves you through movement, visualization and energy work.

Join us in Little Italy for an evening of setting intentions. Through the guidance of Carla, Yoga Instructor and Reiki Practitioner, you can set the stage for your month, year and life ahead. Together we will embrace our new beginnings through movement, visualization and sound healing.
