You can harness the moon's energy two days before and after a new moon; if you missed our new moon circle on March 29, 2018 here is Integrative Healer, Rob Nguyen's take on this celestial event and his suggestions for incorporating the moon's energy during this time of the month.
A S T R O L O G Y :
Our impulsive inner child dances expressively on our New Moon, April 15th. Both our divine Sun and Moon align with Aires, the initiator of new beginnings. Aires individuates as the first in the zodiac, aspiring us to make our Self the number ONE of our own lives. This new moon also partners with the end of Mercury retrograde. The leaves that have burned to ash during a time of a reflective retrograde, now regrow with a catalyst lit by a warrior spirit.
This sun and moon pairing will challenge the way we build our Self expression versus the cultivation of EGO energy. To activate our inner Aires, how do you RESPOND when your identity is tested by others? When the loves of your life MISUNDERSTAND your sense of being? Instead of channeling your inner child to boil in a tantrum, find safety in a sacred innocence when approaching judgement on contesters.
Axis of Aries Archetype: the initiator, decision maker, and warrior of the Self.
T H E P H Y S I C A L :
Aries rules the bodily region of the head / to include the face and crown.
Yin Yoga poses to balance a fiery Aires nature: child's pose, earth hugging pose, supine twist, toe squat, caterpillar pose, dangling
Crystal that illuminates this moon: Carnelian helps us heal enemies of the heart (anger, envy, sorrow, and jealousy) when others test and attempt to shame our personal power.
- Headaches, migraines, and stress are health concerns that may arrive when our fire over boils the pot. Peppermint oil will cool and alleviate such symptoms to energize to continue with our day, but alleviate and cool a hot head.
Mantra for this moon: "My child is safe"
